Patricia Lovett MBE

Patricia Lovett MBE is former Chair of the Heritage Crafts Association and a professional scribe and illuminator. Patricia was Vice-Chair of the Heritage Crafts Association from when it was founded to when she took up the role of Chair in 2017, a post she held until 2022. She is a professional scribe and illuminator who has written over a dozen books, including ‘The Art and History of Calligraphy’ published by the British Library. Patricia teaches and lectures all over the world and specialises in traditional manuscript skills.

Patricia is a judge for the President’s Award for Endangered Crafts.
