HCA/QEST Scholarship
Bursary of up to £18,000 over three years (maximum £6,000 per year)

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) Heritage Crafts Scholarship is for those who have completed an apprenticeship or equivalent and are of a reasonable standard in their craft and wish to take their training further in order to enhance their craft career. It is possible for the applicant to work with a Master Craftsperson who will act as a trainer and mentor, or to work with various high level craftspeople to learn different, but linked, skills. This award is being funded by QEST but initial shortlisting will be by the Heritage Crafts Awards judging team.

The final interview, selection and approval will be by the QEST committee on which there will be HCA representation. Finalists will be presented with certificates at the HCA Conference in London on 24 March 2018. Interviews will be in London and will take place in April 2018 (date to be confirmed by QEST).
