President’s Award for Endangered Crafts

£3,000

This grant of £3,000, supported by Heritage Crafts’ President the former Prince of Wales, will be awarded to the proposal which in the judges’ opinion will make the best use of the funds to secure the survival of an endangered craft.

Eligible crafts are those categorised as ‘endangered’ and ‘critically endangered’ in the Red List of Endangered Crafts 2023 edition – see heritagecrafts.org.uk/redlist (please note that for the purposes of this grant, the only eligible crafts are those listed. The list of eligible crafts may be amended in future years in the light of more research).

Finalists will be expected to attend the high-profile Winners’ Reception at the Vicar’s Hall, Windsor Castle on 15 November 2023.

Closing date for applications: extended to Friday 18 August 2023, 5pm
